What we collect
When you plan a trip we process the start and destination you type, the filters you choose, and the resulting route so we can find restaurants along it. If you create an account we store your email address (or the basic profile returned by your sign-in provider) and any trips and stops you choose to save.
Location
OnMyWay only uses location to draw your route and measure how far a restaurant sits off it. If you grant device location permission it is used to fill in your starting point and is never sold, shared with advertisers, or tracked in the background. You can use the app fully by typing addresses instead.
Third parties
Routes, places, photos, and reviews come from Google Maps Platform, and your searches are sent to Google to return them. Accounts and saved trips are stored with our hosting and database provider. We do not sell personal data.
Deleting your data
You can delete any saved trip from the My trips page at any time. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email privacy@onmyway.app and we will remove it within 30 days.
